Genesis 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

Saints, today we will meditate upon Faith and Father of Faith Abraham. Bible says that he was blessed and it pleased Lord to bless him. However did you know he was not always a man of Faith. In fact he was fearful and would run away from trusting God whenever he would face any trouble. Still Lord calls him father of Faith.
How?? Lord had to test his Faith again and again to understand whether he loves him above all these.
In the verse above Lord had mentioned specifically that NOW I KNOW because of unbelief and fear he was constantly swaying away from the original plan of God and though Lord wanted to bless him he could not as it is impossible to please God without Faith.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Today when you face small test, have Faith and trust God completely for if the Lord is for us who can be against us. Remember how God says to Abraham, now he knows how he fears God. So remember when you face trials and test Lord is checking on you whether you still have Faith on him or will you leave him.
James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
So you can see as long as you are in this earth you will have test and trials, it is God way to know whether you trust him completely and also to show his love on you. So that you build in Faith.
